- Email Address: Used for account creation and OTP authentication
- Profile Information: Name, title, company, bio, job title, and talk-about tags
- Profile Photo: Optional photo uploaded to Supabase Storage
- Social Links: Social media platform handles and URLs (Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Linktree, OnlyFans, GitHub, website, email, phone)
2.2. Automatically Collected Information
We may automatically collect certain technical information:
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers
- Usage Data: App usage patterns, features accessed, and interaction data
- Log Data: IP address, browser type, and access times
2.3. NFC Card Information
- Card Code: Unique identifier associated with your paired NFC card
- Pairing Data: Timestamp when you paired your card
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information for the following purposes:
3.1. Account Management
- To create and maintain your account
- To authenticate you via email OTP
- To provide customer support
3.2. Core App Functionality
- To create and display your professional profile
- To enable NFC card pairing and scanning
- To facilitate connections between users
- To allow users to view your profile when they scan your NFC card
3.3. Communication
- To send you OTP codes for authentication
- To send important app updates and security notices
- To respond to your inquiries
3.4. Analytics and Improvement
- To analyze usage patterns and improve the App
- To monitor and troubleshoot technical issues
- To develop new features and services
4. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
4.1. With Other Users
- Your profile information (name, title, company, bio, photo, social links) is visible to other users who scan your NFC card or are connected with you
- Your email address is never publicly displayed to other users
4.2. Service Providers
We may share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the App:
- Supabase: For database hosting, authentication, and file storage
- Sentry: For error tracking and crash reporting
- These service providers are bound by confidentiality obligations and may only use your data to provide services to us
4.3. Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests, court orders, or government regulations.
4.4. Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the new owner.
5. Data Security
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information:
- Encryption: Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS
- Authentication: Email OTP-based authentication system
- Access Controls: Restricted access to user data
- Secure Storage: Profile photos stored in secure cloud storage
However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide the App and fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy:
- Active Accounts: Information is retained while your account is active
- Deleted Accounts: Profile information is removed from public view within 30 days of account deletion
- Legal Requirements: Some data may be retained longer if required by law
7. Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights regarding your personal information:
7.1. Access and Correction
- You can view and update your profile information at any time through the App
- You can change your profile photo, social links, and other profile data
7.2. Account Deletion
- You can delete your account by signing out and contacting support
- Upon deletion, your profile will be removed from public view
- Your NFC card will be unpaired from your account
7.3. NFC Card Management
- You can unpair your NFC card at any time
- You can pair a new card to replace an old one
7.4. Data Portability
- You can request a copy of your personal data by contacting our support team
7.5. Opt-Out
- You can opt out of non-essential communications by adjusting your notification settings
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

- Updating the "Last Updated" date and version number
